The CNRS also supported Nietzsche Source through two specific grants from the programmes \u201cAides \u00e0 Projet Nouveau\u201d (2000, Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio, director) and GIS Sciences de la cognition (1998-1999, Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio and Bill Turner, directors) and, at the very beginning, within its thematic programme \u201cArchives de la cr\u00e9ation\u201d (1998-1999, Prof. Dr. Daniel Ferrer, Director).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.discovery-project.eu\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-166 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/EU.png\" alt=\"EU\" width=\"110\" height=\"58\" \/><\/a>The European Commission, within the eContentplus programme, funded the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discovery-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Discovery Project<\/a> \u2013 Digital Semantic Corpora for Virtual Research in Philosophy\u00a0\u2014 from 2007 to 2009, formed by 6 partner institutions under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.projectagora.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Agora Project<\/a> \u2014 Scholarly Open Access Research in European Philosophy \u2014 from 2011 to 2013.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.klassik-stiftung.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-165 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/weimar.png\" alt=\"weimar\" width=\"110\" height=\"49\" \/><\/a>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klassik-stiftung.de\/forschung\/digitale-dokumente\/digitalisierte-bestaende\/nachlass-friedrich-nietzsche-dfga\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Foundation of Weimar Classics<\/a>, one of Germany\u2019s most significant cultural institutions, signed an agreement with the Association HyperNietzsche for the digitization and publication on the Internet of all documents relevant to the life and work of Friedrich Nietzsche that belong to the Foundation. This unprecedented agreement includes manuscripts, letters, biographical documents and first editions of Nietzsche\u2019s works as well as the volumes in Nietzsche\u2019s personal library. The joint goal of the Foundation and Nietzsche Source is both to support research and to increase the scholarly value of the archive materials.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-394 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/DFG-300x113.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"98\" height=\"37\" srcset=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/DFG-300x113.png 300w, http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/DFG.png 416w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 98px) 85vw, 98px\" \/>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dfg.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft<\/a> awarded two research grants (for the periods 2002-2004 and 2006-2007) to the project \u201cHyperNietzsche \u2013 Pilotedition f\u00fcr das Modell eines netzbasierten geisteswissenschaftlichen Editions-, Kommunikations- und Forschungshypertextes\u201d, directed by Prof. Dr. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.philosophie.tu-berlin.de\/menue\/mitarbeiter\/professoren\/prof_dr_guenter_abel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G\u00fcnter Abel<\/a>, TU Berlin and Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio.<br \/>\nFrom 2015 to 2018 and from 2021 to 2023 the\u00a0DFG awarded a research grant to the project \u201cDigitale Faksimile-Gesamtausgabe Nietzsches (<a href=\"http:\/\/gepris.dfg.de\/gepris\/projekt\/279557452\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DFGA<\/a>)\u201d directed by\u00a0Dr. Bernhard Fischer and by Prof. Dr. Marcel Lepper, directors of\u00a0the\u00a0Goethe-Schiller archive in Weimar, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-384 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/ANR.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"101\" height=\"50\" \/>From 2016 to 2019 the <a href=\"https:\/\/gepris.dfg.de\/gepris\/projekt\/281581212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DFG<\/a>\u00a0and the <a href=\"https:\/\/anr.fr\/Projet-ANR-15-FRAL-0001\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ANR<\/a> awarded a research grant to the project \u201cNietzsches Bibliothek. Digitale Edition und philosophischer Kommentar\u201d directed by Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio and Prof. Dr. Andreas Urs Sommer (Freiburg University).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/web\/start.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-163 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/avh.png\" alt=\"avh\" width=\"110\" height=\"58\" \/><\/a>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/web\/start.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation<\/a> and the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research awarded Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/en\/Programme\/preise\/kova.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sofja Kovalevskaja Award<\/a> &#8220;for outstanding young scientists and scholars\u201d for the project &#8220;HyperNietzsche \u2013 Modell eines netzbasierten geisteswissenschaftlichen Editions-, Kommunikations- und Forschungshypertextes&#8221;. The project was realised from 2001 to 2004 by a research group at the University of Munich (LMU, host researcher Prof. Dr. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglistik.uni-muenchen.de\/personen\/emeriti\/gabler\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hans Walter Gabler<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-162 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/aci.png\" alt=\"aci\" width=\"110\" height=\"61\" \/><\/a>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">French Ministry of Research<\/a>, within the Action Concert\u00e9e Incitative \u201cJeunes chercheurs\u201d, funded the project &#8220;HyperNietzsche&#8221; from 2001 to 2003 under the direction of Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nietzsche Source is the pilot project of two European coordination actions:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost-a32.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-161 size-full alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/cost.png\" alt=\"cost\" width=\"110\" height=\"26\" \/><\/a>2006-2010 \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost-a32.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">COST Action A32<\/a>, \u201cOpen Scholarly Communities on the Web\u201d, 15 European countries participating (Prof. Dr. Paolo D\u2019Iorio, initiator and director until August 2008).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hyperlearning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-160 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/doc.francesource.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/hl.png\" alt=\"hl\" width=\"110\" height=\"35\" \/><\/a>2004-2007 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.item.ens.fr\/index.php?id=14149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Groupement de Recherche Europ\u00e9en<\/a> (GDREplus), \u201cHyper-Learning.
